Friday Throwback: B.G. - Bling Bling

How about this for a throwback--A look back at Weezy with no dreads, no tats, and pretty much no talent. To be fair, he was 17 at the time, and I wasn't doing anything except smoking blunts and stocking eggs at a grocery store when I was 17. Carter IV drops in a little over a month, and I think we are all happy with how far Wayne has come. Back to the point, this song may have set hip-hop back 5 years, maybe more. I'm just trying to figure out how long it took old, white people to stop saying "Bling Bling" and even though that might only be half as long as it took them to stop saying "getting jiggy with it" that's not much consolation...
